The OSHA 10 & 30 Hour Outreach Training Program is OSHA's primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of indentifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.

Over the past three years, over 1.3 million students have received training through this program.

OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Outreach Trainin: $89

This course is presented as part of the OSHA Outreach Program for general industry. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive course completion certificate and a wallet-sized DOL/OSHA completioncard. This course provides the SAME certification as the classroom-delivered course taught for many years under the OSHA Outreach Program. The course is appropriate for workers, foremen, job supervisors, inspectors, etc., involved in industry. Modules are based on General Industry safety standards and included: Introduction to OSHA, Electrical Safety, Walking and Working Surfaces, Exit Routes, Emergency Action and Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection, Materials Handling/Back Injury Prevention, Flammable and Combustible Liquids, Personal Protective Equipment, Machine Guarding, Hazard communication or HAZCOM and Bloodborne Pathogens. OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training: $189

This OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Course covers OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
